Ellen’s biggest challenge ever is spreading like an unforgiving weed. World domination has officially surpassed the speed of light. It’s astonishing to learn that I have found one thing that is growing faster than my grey hairs. Boy, I sure hate losing a bet, but if it has to be to Ellen then I will stand down. I raise my “Ellen” flag and forgo the traditional white one. She is underway and well on track to reaching her goal by year end.

Yes, our Ellen Angel is shedding her light and connecting people everywhere. It’s like a contagous fever with no antidote to kill it. “Midas, step aside“.

Do you remember Maria Holloway? I sure do. I blogged about her because of how touched I was by her email and what Ellen did to help her and her family out of a tough situation. Here’s a quick view…

Ellen does it again with her BIG HEART!

A woman from Miami caught Ellen’s attention when she wrote her a letter about some hard times she and her family were experiencing. Her husband had lost his job some months ago and has been unable to secure any employment elsewhere. They have two wonderful kids, but had no idea of how they were going to make their next rent payment. I’m sure Ellen reads these kinds of letters all the time, but somehow her gut told her they needed her help. So, Jeannie was pulled from the red carpet and called in for her new mission!

As if The Ellen Degeneres Show, American Idol, Cover Girl, American Express, animal rights activist, and of course the “O” cover isn’t enough. Ellen has been working at warped speed with no signs of slowing down. How much more can she conquer? Apparantly a lot. Because of Ellen, Maria Holloway found my blog. Because of Ellen, I have this blog and because of Ellen we now all share a common tie to one another. If that isn’t an “outreach of love” then I don’t know what is.

Maria sent me an email and spoke of her deep gratitude for what Ellen did for her. I learned that she had wanted to do something to ‘pay it forward’. I realized that two people who knew nothing of each other now shared a commonality. We embraced the path that Ellen set forth. Being a musician, she felt the need to give back to Ellen’s cause for an “outreach of love”. She answered Ellen’s fan request for a song to go with her Ellen flag as it goes around the world. I think she did a fabulous job, but I’ll let you be the judge.

I can personally attest now that Ellen is touching lives. I know she has touched mine forever and I know she has touched Maria’s and her family. This blog is my contribution and Maria’s song is hers. I can only imagine how many millions of people she has inspired to make a difference in other peoples lives. Probably more than she could even imagine. To this I say, “You Go Girl”!
